When you sign up or log in, we collect your email address and, if you use Google Sign-In, your name and profile picture from Google. We also store the application tracking data you enter (companies, roles, statuses, notes) and any résumé content you create within the app.
Your data is used solely to provide the Hire Journey service — displaying your tracked applications, generating insights, and pre-filling résumé fields. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google's OAuth service. We use this information only to create and identify your account. We do not request access to your Gmail, Drive, or any other Google services beyond basic profile information.
Your data is stored securely in Supabase (a managed PostgreSQL database). We use Supabase's built-in Row Level Security (RLS) to ensure each user can only access their own data. Data is stored in the United States.
We use browser cookies to maintain your authenticated session via Supabase. We also use localStorage to save your appearance preferences (theme and accent color). No third-party tracking cookies are used.
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
We use the following third-party services: Supabase (database and authentication), Netlify (hosting), and Google (OAuth sign-in). Each service has its own privacy policy governing their handling of data.
Hire Journey is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
